There a several of them but the ones I’ve read so much about are Latisse, Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner, Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum, Rapid Lash, Smart Lash, Marini Lash and L’oreal Lash Boosting Serum. What’s common about them is that they use prostaglandin analog element for the growth of the eyelashes and also some vitamins and minerals to help condition your them.
Other eyelash lengthening products are the eyelash growth enhancing mascaras that come in brands like Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara and Cargo Eyelash Growth Enhancing Mascara. They work as mascaras and eyelash lengthening products in one because they are fused with ingredients that complements the natural growth of your lashes and the elements in your good, ‘ol plain mascara. The good thing about them is that you can directly apply them to your lashes unlike the eyelash growth serums which must only be applied on your upper lids if you don’t want the area around your eyes to get irritated.

The eyelash growth emhancing mascaras however, cost between $8 and $36. They’re much more affordable.

How long do these eyelash lengthening products take effect?

Well, the effectiveness period depends on a few factors: how you follow instructions when you apply them, how “regularly” you use them and how your skin respond to these eyelash lengthening products. If you follow their application instructions religiously, apply them everyday as directed and if you don’t have any allergic reactions (if you have then you’d better stop using them), you’ll most likely see the results after 4 to 6 weeks. If it’s been over that and your eyelashes stubbornly remain at the same length and thickness, then it means that the particular eyelash lengthening product’s brand you’re using is not for you.

Personally, I’d be a bit hesitant in trying eyelash lengthening products unless it’s approved by my doctor (Latisse is FDA approved so most doctors might prescribe it) but I may get my hands on any eyelash growth enhancing mascara.
