I used the original Revitalash for about 2 years straight. It took about 1 month of daily use for results. My lashes became noticeably longer and with mascara, they were the same length has individual fake lashes that I would apply occasionally to add fullness. Once at this length, I went to using every other day to help save product. They remained the same length while continuing this regimen. Once I ran out, I tested what would happen with discontinued use. Over the course of 6 months, the lashes simply went back to their standard length. I did not notice any falling out, so don't know exactly how this happens, but that was my experience.
I purchased the new Advanced formula and within 2 weeks, they are already getting back to the long length again. I feel like the effects are actually quicker than I remember with the first formula. I do agree there seems to be less product than prior, but the reality is you just need a small wipe 1x per night to get results. I then don't dip again before wiping the lower lashes (otherwise, they get too long to apply mascara to the bottom lashes). Yes, it's an expense, but it feels amazing to have lashes that actually pop without the hassle of fake ones. I have sensitive/dry eyes and I have never noticed any side effects.

I have been using Latisse for 5 months now. I could see a difference at about 6 weeks in and a huge difference at about 8-10 weeks of using it. It did make my lashes fuller and longer - myself and others can see the difference. Mine do still fall out though. I rated this a 5 because it absolutely does do what it says it does. However, there are a few side affects but as with anything you would need to decide if the benefits outweigh the risks (aka side affects). For me it has made my eyes feel drier, sometimes a bit itchy, and sometimes hard to wear my contacts throughout the day. I started using Latisse on the recommendation of my dermatologist, who had fabulous lashes and who used Latisse. I've been using Idol Lash for about three weeks now, and I've used it night and morning (goes against the directions, but my eyes seem to be okay with it, so I thought why not? lol), and the difference I've noticed already goes beyond what I'd ever hoped for. I have fair hair and so my eyelashes were fair, and they have definitely darkened a couple of shades. My lashes were fairly long anyway, but they've noticeably grown, this shows without mascara - but the results when I put on black mascara is incredible, I can't stop looking at them! The main reason i bought Idol Lash is because I want thicker, fatter lashes, and I can see the gaps beginning to fill in. They have a way to go, but I have every faith in this product. Ignore the bad reviews, okay so perhaps it won't work on everyone (I don't know why) but you have to give it a try coz it's worth the very reasonable price to see if you can get the kind of results I've got.
