How to Grow Longer Eyelashes at Home – Top 3 Home Remedies to Grow Eyelashes

Lengthy eyelashes have always been a symbol of femininity for centuries. Even up to the present, women of different cultures have always desired for longer eyelashes. From traditional eyelash extensions, kohl and trimming to contemporary tools, such as false lashes, eyelash curlers, mascara guards, eyelash tints and extensions, eyelash transplants to mascaras, it is simply evident how women try to get through various means just to make their lashes appear longer.

How to Grow Longer Eyelashes at Home

Before discussing the top three home remedies to grow eyelashes, it is important that an applicator stick is created first. All ladies need is a used mascara applicator that should be cleaned first with soapy water comprising of baby shampoo. As much as possible, do not use hand soap in cleaning a mascara applicator as its ingredients may easily damage the applicator’s bristles.

Lastly, allow the mascara to dry. This applicator would then be the primary tool used in applying the various home remedies.

Home Remedies to Grow Eyelashes

Substances like Vaseline and almond oil are believed to enhance the length of one’s lashes, but natural oils like olive oil and castor oil for eyelashes growth are known to be effective as well.

1.     Olive Oil

Does olive oil make your eyelashes grow? A natural substance produced by olives, olive oils act as skin and hair cleansers and moisturizers, and they are claimed to make brittle, dry lashes stronger and thicker.

While applying olive oil does not necessarily indicate that one’s lashes would become lengthier than what one’s genes could offer, such natural oil merely guarantees that it can provide the needed nutrients and moisture that are lacking in a brittle eyelash hair.

How to Apply Olive Oil for Eyelashes

Use the applicator stick, and coat this with olive oil. Apply to the eyelashes before going to bed. Upon waking up, use warm water to rinse the eyelashes and the entire face.

2. Castor Oil

The raves of using castor oil for eyelash growth has been increasing in many online forums and review sites for some time now, and one could only take this claim with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, it would not hurt to try castor oil if it produces similar or even better effects than olive oil.

Coming from the castor bean’s extracted seeds, the castor oil helps hair follicles by ensuring that the cuticle coating is flattened and the hair shaft is covered. This allows moisture to be completely locked in, resulting in softer follicles as well as stronger and shinier eyelashes.

Tips on Applying Olive Oil for Eyelashes

  • Purchase castor oils only in health shops and not in groceries as the latter may only sell castor oils meant for industrial application. Look for cold-processes or cold-pressed on the bottle’s label as this indicates that you are purchasing a natural product.

  •  Use an eye makeup remover prior to applying castor oil, and carefully apply this to the lashes.

3. Other Treatments

Almost always present in every home, petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline, also promises longer eyelashes in just about two to three weeks’ time. Unlike castor oil and olive oil though, petroleum jelly must be applied to the lash twice a day, before sleeping and after waking up in the morning.

In case the natural oils and petroleum jelly show no improvement at all to one’s short lashes, girls could then try immersing a cotton ball in a cup of green tea. One could then put it on the lashes, and hope that the tea would do its wonders of growing and cleaning the hair follicles.

Lastly, a lemon peel could be added to a container of olive oil, and leave it there for 5 days. This is believed to strengthen the effects of olive oil for eyelashes’ growth.

In general, these natural means of lengthening one’s lashes could only be effective if a person is determined enough to make them a routine beauty regimen for approximately 2 to 3 months.

More Tips:

  • Ensure that the natural substances stay on the lashes all throughout the night. Once awake, use a facial wash when rinsing in the morning. Properly rinse before farding eye makeup as the remaining oil may make this ooze if not completely removed.

  • Just like how one applies mascara, movement should start from the interior to the exterior eyelash, starting from the hair root to the tip. Cotton may be used in wiping any excessive substance.

  • Making sure that the entire face, most especially the eyelashes, is thoroughly cleaned as this prevents pores from getting clogged; hence, restricting eyelash hair growth.

Eyelash Lengthening Products: The Basic Things You Should Know

Wanting to have lengthy and thick eyelashes is a trend that’s not ever going to go out of style that’s why there are a lot of eyelash lengthening products available out there. I mean Egyptian women from centuries ago did everything to make their their eyelashes appear thick and long so their eyes stand out. And I’m sure it wasn’t just the Egyptians then, almost all women all over the world wanted (and still want) to possess the tantalizing set of long and thick lashed eyes. Some of us though (myself included), haven’t heard of eyelash lengthening products because we’re too happy with our regular mascara tubes. We didn’t know that there’s a chance to get our eyelashes to grow thicker and longer like we were born with the genes to have them.

So I’m making myself and the rest of the women who don’t know anything about eyelash lengthening products yet a favor. Please read on.

What are the two types of the current eyelash lengthening products?

There are two types of eyelash growth products available in the market today: eyelash lengthening serums and eyelash growth enhancing mascaras. Wait, what? Did you just read eyelash growth enhancing mascara? Yes, you actually read right. Gone are the days when mascaras are just for making your eyes seemingly darker, thicker and longer. There are mascaras now that can aid in the growth of your lashes. They are formulated differently than the eyelash growth serums, of course. But many users can attest that they do work.

What are the common or popular brands of eyelash lengthening products?

I’m going to give you the popular lengthening serum brands first. There a several of them but the ones I’ve read so much about are Latisse, Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner, Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum, Rapid Lash, Smart Lash, Marini Lash and L’oreal Lash Boosting Serum. What’s common about them is that they use prostaglandin analog element for the growth of the eyelashes and also some vitamins and minerals to help condition your them.
Other eyelash lengthening products are the eyelash growth enhancing mascaras that come in brands like Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara and Cargo Eyelash Growth Enhancing Mascara. They work as mascaras and eyelash lengthening products in one because they are fused with ingredients that complements the natural growth of your lashes and the elements in your good, ‘ol plain mascara. The good thing about them is that you can directly apply them to your lashes unlike the eyelash growth serums which must only be applied on your upper lids if you don’t want the area around your eyes to get irritated.

How much do these eyelash lengthening products cost?

If you guessed that the eyelash growth serums cost higher than the eyelash growth enhancer mascaras, then you guessed right. If you take a look at these prices here: Li Lash on Ebay and Amazon, Rimmel Lash on Ebay and Amazon, Rapid Lash on Ebay and Amazon, you’ll find out that the average cost of these products are between $60 and $140. The eyelash growth emhancing mascaras however, cost between $8 and $36. They’re much more affordable.

How long do these eyelash lengthening products take effect?

Well, the effectiveness period depends on a few factors: how you follow instructions when you apply them, how “regularly” you use them and how your skin respond to these eyelash lengthening products. If you follow their application instructions religiously, apply them everyday as directed and if you don’t have any allergic reactions (if you have then you’d better stop using them), you’ll most likely see the results after 4 to 6 weeks. If it’s been over that and your eyelashes stubbornly remain at the same length and thickness, then it means that the particular eyelash lengthening product’s brand you’re using is not for you.

Personally, I’d be a bit hesitant in trying eyelash lengthening products unless it’s approved by my doctor (Latisse is FDA approved so most doctors might prescribe it) but I may get my hands on any eyelash growth enhancing mascara. I love mascaras so much and the idea that one may actually help my so short and so thin lashes grow long and thick is just awesome. How about you? Now that you’ve known about these eyelash lengthening products, are you ready to try one on your lashes?

Is There a Thing Called an Eyelash Growth Mascara?

There are eyelash growth serums that are formulated just for growing eyelashes (I should know, I’ve written so much about them) but is there even a thing called eyelash growth mascara?  Is there actually an eye cosmetic that serves two purposes: a mascara and an eyelash enhancer?  Accroding to my research, yes so I’ve become one happier mascara user here.

People (when I say “people”, I mean most celebrities) say that as we grow older, we become more confident.  It’s quite true for common people as well because it’s happening to me.  And it’s also true that as we age, we realize there are things like hair loss (eyelashes loss for that matter) and wrinkles that we can’t avoid.  I can live with having a few wrinkles here and there but I’m not really sure about getting bald or getting as little eyelashes as possible.  And since I’m such a mascara lover (I can’t leave the house without putting one on my eyelashes), I’d be more comfortable with an eyelash growth mascara than any other eye product available in the market today.

What’s the difference between an eyelash growth mascara and just a regular mascara?

Obviously, eyelash growth mascara will help you grow your lashes while making them look thicker and darker while the regular mascara only defines those lashes and make them appear longer and thicker.  It’s fused with ingredients for eyelash enhancement according to the companies that manufacture this kind of product.  Elements like Grow-Lash Complex (which isn’t specifically noted just that grow-lash word) is said to help or complement the growth of your lashes.

What are the popular eyelash growth mascara brands?

eyelash growth mascara

Popular brands of eyelash growth mascara

Personally, I’ve always been in love with my Maybelline Volum Express Waterproof Mascara but given the fact that there are eyelash growth mascaras out there, I might need to change it.  A few brands I’ve encountered while researching for an eyelash growth mascara are Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara and Cargo Eyelash Growth Enhancing Mascara.  Rimmel is modeled by Zooey Deschanel, my favorite actress (so maybe I’ll get a bit bias with this product but wait, Zooey has always had those thick and long lashes, hmmm), Revlon goes in two types: regular and waterproof and is modeled by Jessica Biel (not that products with celeb models really matter or don’t they?) and Cargo boasts of its array of natural ingredients and polypeptides for eyelash growth (the alga Laminaria, anyone?).  I have yet to do more research on these products to see which would actually give me the results I want.  I mean, it’s going to be a few dollars less than any eyelash growth serums like Li Lash, RevitaLash or Latisse (Note: Price of LiLash on ebay or amazon, Price of RevitaLash on ebay or amazon).  See?  Do you get what I’m saying?  A good eyelash growth serum costs around $80 to $140  plus I still need to have my favorite mascara to put on which costs around $7.5.  But if I settle on an eyelash growth mascara, the most I’d get to spend is around $38 (unless there is a more expensive one I haven’t known of yet which, in any case, I won’t settle for because the point here is how I can SAVE and still get great results for my eyelashes).  Moreover, an eyelash growth mascara is supposedly easier to apply because you've been applying mascara for several years now, haven't you?

Basically if my research would give the information I need from an eyelash growth mascara, I’d be more than willing to let go of my current mascara and switch to the best particular brand.  How about you?  Don’t you think using an eyelash growth mascara is more convenient and productive than using just the plain old mascara?

RevitaLash vs Latisse: Which Eyelash Enhancer Will Work For You?

Hi, Reader! Welcome to another article about eyelash enhancers, this time about “RevitaLash vs Latisse: Which of these two popular eyelash growth products will work best for you?”.   I’m a self-declared expert on eyelash growth serums now because I’ve been doing some research about it for almost a month and when you do research for this long, you usually think that you know about the product so much and has an excuse to call yourself an “expert”.

Kidding aside though, I was reading my favorite magazine (yes, I DO still read magazines) this morning, Glamour, when I came across an ad page about Latisse with Claire Danes and Brooke Shields as models with their before and after eyelashes picture.  I was not really surprised knowing how popular this particular brand of eyelash enhancer has become and that most doctors trust it because it has FDA approval.  And while we’re in the topic of eyelash growth products’ research, I’ve also came across an equally popular brand called RevitaLash.  If you happen to be in a dilemma over RevitaLash vs Latisse, let me help you come up with a decision.

RevitaLash vs Latisse

RevitaLash vs Latisse

RevitaLash vs Latisse:  Cost

Here I am dealing with Revitalash vs Latisse ‘s cost.  I’ve made it a practice to tackle this part of the comparison first because as I’ve said, we all should know how much we should expect to spend in exchange of really long, thick and beautiful lashes.  If you take a look at RevitaLash on ebay or amazon, it costs around $80 to $140 depending on the seller.  Latisse, on the other hand, costs approximately $130.  It’s not available on ebay and amazon because it requires a prescription.

RevitaLash vs Latisse: Formulation

Here’s the tricky part on this RevitaLash vs Latisse battle because we can’t all be experts (not even a self-declared) on what kind of formulation really works and what does not.  But as a summary RevitaLash, a product from Athena Cosmetics, Inc., was formulated by Michael Brinkenhoff, MD for his wife who was recovering from metastatics breast canser treatments (I’m quoting this from the official RevitaLash site).  There are limited write ups about the specific formulation of the product but one key ingredient is called latanoprost which one blogger called “lash-plumbing” drug.  This one aids in the growth of the lashes.  There are other elements like water, sodium chloride, citric acid, panthenol and more.  You may need to look into the RevitaLash package to get the specifics.

Latisse, on one hand, is a prescription drug for hypotrichosis (the abnormality of having little eyelashes).  The manufacturers of Latisse is the same company that makes BOTOX (irrelevant information that I needed to include here) called Allergan.  The key ingredient of this product is bimatoprost which is a prostaglandin analog (means not really a prostaglandin) that helps control glaucoma progression and also at a prescribed amount can lengthen the eyelashes.   Again, Latisse is FDA-approved.

RevitaLash vs Latisse:  Effectiveness and Side-Effects

Here’s another tricky part in the continuing RevitaLash vs Latisse competition in this article.  RevitaLash is said to work within 3 to 10 weeks while Latisse is claimed to be effective within 4 to 16 weeks.  Both should be applied once  a day regularly on the upper eyelid, not on the lashes themselves.  Both are also not recommended for pregnant women and those undergoing eye-ailment treatments unless approved by the doctor.  Some RevitaLash side effects that have been reported were irritation and redness around the eye area, brittleness, drying and breakage of the lashes due to sodium chloride.  Latisse’s side effects also are irritation and redness plus darkening around the same area, eyelashes fall out and discoloration.  There are also users who added that Latisse took as long as 4 months = 16 weeks for it give the expected results on their lashes not 4 weeks.

RevitaLash vs Latisse: Verdict

RevitaLash and Latisse have almost the same price so there is no competition on this factor.  I’m a bit confused about latanoprost (I think I need more research on this one).  For this vagueness, I’m putting on extra points on Latisse plus it’s FDA- approval also makes a BIG difference.  I’m giving extra points on RevitaLash for majorly making its users happy by delivering the results within its claimed effectiveness period and also because a part of its cost is actually donated to breast cancer research.  Which product wins the RevitaLash vs Latisse contest?  It’s a draw.

If you want a professional opinion, you shoud visit your doctor and ask for advice on which product to use.  If you’re like me, you should go and do more researches and then still ask yourself whether you’re ready to use an eyelash growth serum for the possibility of possessing picture perfect lashes.  Better yet, you can research and write your own RevitaLash vs Latisse article so you can declare yourself an “expert” too.

How to Grow Eyelashes That Are Longer and Thicker

I’m going to talk about how to grow eyelashes like a pretentious expert because I’ve always been fascinated  with people who possess strong, long and thick eyelashes.  When I first meet a person, I automatically look into her eyes not only because they are the mirror to her soul but also because I want to silently scrutinize her eyelashes.  I can’t necessarily call it a fetish though, it’s just my natural reaction given the fact that my eyelashes are thin and short.  I also enjoy looking at mascara ads and asking how in the world is it even possible to grow eyelashes that long and thick.  I found out there are several ways to answer this how-to-grow-eyelashes question.

Women and some men have looked for ways on how to grow eyelashes for centuries.  Some do it for the purpose of eye protection (lashes were created to protect the eyes from natural tiny debris by giving them a signal to blink when there’s a threat) and most for the enhancement of their physical beauty.   I’ve collated some tips I’ve found on how to grow eyelashes naturally and through the aid of eyelash growth products.  Here they are:

How to Grow Eyelashes Naturally

promote eyelashes growth by eating healthy

1.  Eat healthy and get enough sleep.  This is a no brainer.  Anyone who eats healthy and sleeps for 8 hours or so can expect to have healthy skin and hair (inlcuding those eyelashes).  Cut out those junk foods in your diet, avoid sleeping late and you’re set to go.

2.  Take some vitamin and mineral supplements.  Research have proven that calcium, Vitamin B-complexand omega-3 fatty acids can help your lashes grow longer , thicker and stronger.  If you’re a bit hesitant about taking in pills, you can always merge these vitamins and minerals in your diet.  For example, drink milk instead of coffee in the morning and at night, eat fresh fruits and vegetables like carrots, turnips, lettuce and kale, and also eat fish with omega-3-fatty-acids-rich oil.

3.  Apply vitamin E oil on your eyelids is also included in this how to grow eyelashes naturally tips.  For stronger lashes you may use lubricants like pretroleum jelly and olive oil on them.

How to Grow Eyelashes using Rimmel

1.  Choose the best eyelash growth product.  Among the eyelash enhancers that are favorably talked about are Rimmel Eyelash Accelerator, Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner and Latisse.  You have to pick one that has convinced you or you may ask your dermatologist for an advice.

2.  Apply this eyelash growth serum with one stroke on your upper eyelid once or twice a day, depending on the specific brand’s instructions.  If you want to apply mascara over it, make sure to let the product dry first.

3.  Apply this eyelash enhancer regularly for a 6 weeks or so.  The consistent application is vital.  Don’t go applying it randomly at any day in the 45-day period.

Eyelash Grower: Are You Ready to Try One?

“Beauty is in the EYES of the beholder”, this is an old adage which my mother has frequently used on me long before I realized that my eyelashes need some kind of an eyalash grower to make them just a bit less non-existent.  Oh, alright!  What I really meant was an eyelash grower to make them all long and thick and fancy like that of my favorite celebrity.  My mother didn’t mean it to be literal, of course.  There’s wisdom on that adage -one that does not talk about me having great eyes with amazingly long and thick lashes.  But for the sake of this article, please allow me to take it literally.

eyelash grower

eyelash grower for longer and thicker lashes like your younger self

Why do I think I need an eyelash grower?

I had a childhood Bff who possesses  the most beautiful eyes with the thickest and longest eyelashes (no exaggeration here) without the help of an eyelash grower like Rimmel Lash Accelerator or Li Lash Eye Conditioner.  Do you realize how lucky she is?  It means she never had to check for Rimmel on ebay or amazon to get a good deal on an eyelash grower’s price (some of them are really expensive).  She didn’t need to browse the internet for the best eyelash grower in town like Li Lash or RevitaLash.  Her eyelashes won’t be at the mercy of an eyelash grower that may or may not work.  She will never be as fascinated as I am to this little wonder of a beauty invention.

Anyway, Bff has always used it as a weapon for attracting guys which for me is such a waste of natural beauty because eyelashes like hers are more for fighting away these little irritants (hello, tiny bugs) on air so they won’t get inside your eyes and render you helpless with itchiness and pain.  She never realized that certain kind of logic at all.  She has always been named as “the girl with the beautiful eyes” and though I wasn’t exactly referred to as the “girl with the bald eyes”, I still got childishly jealous.  So when I heard about the availability of an eyelash grower (there are many of them to choose from), I was so happy.

What do I know about an eyelash grower?

For those who haven’t heard about an eyelash grower yet, this is in the form of serum which contains elements like polypeptides, vitamins and minerals to enhance the growth of your lashes.  It usually come in mascara-like tubes with applicator and are applied on the upper eyelids (not on the actual lashes please), just right at the base of those lashes.  You may apply it once or twice a day for 4 to 6 weeks, according to the eyelash grower brand’s indication.  It maybe carried by cosmetic brands like Rimmel, Athena Cosmetics, Inc., MAC, etc.  Eyelash grower could  possibly be my eyelashes’  little wonder serum.

Am I ready to try an eyelash grower?

Honestly though, I have long overcome any jealousy for people with naturally long and thick lashes.  After all there are some people who desire to grow their lashes for more than just the aesthetic reasons.  Sometimes, they do it because they need to have these lashes regrown after a series of cancer treatments which have caused their lashes to be flaky and weak.   I consider myself desiring those long and thick lashes for similar reasons as theirs.  But please don’t get me wrong here, I don’t want to sound presumptuous because there’s no way I can compare my eyelashes struggles with their struggles.  The point is that we can all be thankful to these eyelash enhancers (to the good ones that really work without making your eyes suffer) because they are giving us (the less-endowed ones) the hope to grow longer and thicker lashes.  Although I’m not exactly a risk-taker when it comes to using beauty products (my boldest move was trying on a red lipstick), I may consider using one after I’ve taken all things in consideration like cost, safety and effectiveness of an eyelash grower .  This is my eye story and possibly the start of my eyelash grower usage story.  How about you?  Are you ready to try an eyalash grower now?

Things You Should Consider When Choosing an Eyelash Enhancer

eyelash enhancer

Eyelash Enhancers

Are you planning to revamp your image or get those picture perfect long and thick lashes by using an eyelash enhancer?  Do you want to get those younger-self-extraordinarily-long-and-dense eyelashes back, the very lashes which for some unfortunate reasons like aging and potent treatments have started falling off?   Do you want to get into the holiday cheer by saying goodbye to the complicated way of putting on false eyelashes everytime you want to have your eyes emphasized?

Do I sound like a lame eyelash enhancer ad yet?  I think so too.  But I’m not trying to have you buy a certain eyelash enhancer brand here.  What I’m trying to do is help you (I hope) look for  the important points in choosing the best eyelash enhancer.  Because let’s admit it, if you love yourself then you want nothing more than to give it the best product, in this case, the eyelash enhancer your eyes deserve.  So where shall I start?

Cost of the Eyelash Enhancer

Cost should always be first on the list not because I’m thinking you’re a cheapskate but because I think you should know what to expect when you’ve finally decided to enhance those lashes.  The eyelash growth serums that have been having a buzz lately are Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner, Marini Lash, Latisse, SmartLash, RapidLash and Rimmel Lash.  There are a lot more of them out there, believe me, so it’s possible that I may have not covered all the good ones.  But the average price of an eyelash enhancer lies between  80 to 140 dollars except for Rimmel Lash which is pretty cheap (in a good way).

You may want to check the cost of Li Lash on ebay or amazon, RevitaLash on ebay or amazon and RapidLash on ebay or amazon.

Formulation and Effectiveness of the Eyelash Enhancer

Now that you have an idea of an eyelash enhancer’s cost (and have saved for it), let’s take a look at the most important factors: ingredients and it’s capability to make your lashes long and thick.  I have to put these factors together because they can’t live without the other.  I mean the effectiveness of any product or cosmetic depends on the elements present on it, right?   Right, so cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies that manufacture eyelash enhancer has made it possible to mix components that are efficient and safe for your lashes and the area around your eyes.  Li Lash is known for  using ingredients that are natural like the lupinos albus (white lupin) beans extract, prunos amygdalos (almond) while Marini Lash uses non-prostaglandin substances.  When eyelash enhancers first surfaced, the key ingredients has always been bimatoprost -a prostaglandin(hormone-like substance).  After a few studies though, FDA has issued warning that excess amount of bimatoprost in a product may lower its effectiveness and that there might be side-effects like blurred vision, redness and burning sensation which may lead to blindness.  So leading eyelash enhancer brands like SmartLash and RevitaLash got rid of the prostaglandin elements in their products.  There are information about the common eyelash enhancers like Li Lash, Rimmel Lash, SmartLash, RevitaLash and RapidLash scattered in this site.  You might want to take a look.

Ease of Application and Effectiveness Period of the Eyelash Enhancer

For any beauty and cosmetics tricks or treatments I uphold this motto: “If it’s too complicated to use, leave it to the professionals or never use it at all.”  If you choose an eyelash enhancer, at least make sure that you can apply it on your own, at the comforts of your home.  It’s not practical if you need to see a doctor everytime you put it on.  So consider these things:

  •  Apply product once/twice a day
  •  Has its own applicator
  •  No need for a fan to dry it
  •  Can use mascara over it

Also, the  period of effectiveness should just be between 4 to 6 weeks.  If it’s longer then it’s not doing a good job and imagine how much money you get to spend to actually see some good results.  It’s not a good deal at all.

Now that you’ve considered these factors, have you chosen which eyelash enhancer to use?  I hope you’ll be satisfied with it.  Let me know, I’ll be happy to hear your eyelash enhancer story.

Here’s the Real Deal With SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer

I have friends who want to experience how it feels to have longer and thicker lashes  without using falsies and they’ve been asked to try SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer from IQ Derma.  Because I am such a good friend I volunteered to give them information about the product.

There are many write-ups about SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer like the other eyelash growth serums available now.  There are good ones and there are those that are rather unpleasant.  I’ve narrowed down my searches to sites that are doing non-biased reviews and articles that are giving honest opinions.

Here are the things I gathered from rummaging the web with SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer.

What is SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer?

SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer

SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer for thicker and longer lashes

SmartLash is an eyelash growth product produced by IQ Derma, a California based cosmetics company.  It’s a non-irritating eyelash enhancer that promises any user 100%  longer and thicker lashes after 30 days of regular usage.  The enclosed information about the product says that 100% of users indicate it the best among other eyelash growth product, felt like they didn’t need mascara and would, without any hesitation, recommend it to a friend.

There are no prostaglandins in SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer’s formulation so it’s safe to use for sensitive eyes and those wearing contact lenses.  Ingredients include water, Glycerin, Marsupium Bark Extract, Soybean oil and Panthenol.

How is SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer applied?

The SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer should be applied at the base of the eyelashes (our eyelids specifically)with one stroke twice a day for the recommended 30-day period.  It’s effectivity is approximately measured within a month of regular use.  You may apply it on your eyebrows too if you want to grow them as well because IQ Derma claims its safe to be used on this part of your body.  This eyelash growth product is clinically tested so there are no need for worries.

What have been said about SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer by actual users?

First of all, the company has claimed that SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer users have nothing but good things to say about the product because of its 68 to 100% effectiveness on giving  longer and thicker lashes they desire.  And yes, I did see positive feedbacks from real users on its ability to enhance the lashes but I’m sorry to say that out of these positive reviews, there are a few more sad users’ testimonies.

One user used the SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer twice a day for 45 days and there were no astounding apparent results.  This user was even offered by the PR agent from IQ Derma to do a review on the product and gave her the SmartLash for free.  Yes, it is non-irritating –something she can assure the people who would like try the product of- but she said that she’s not recommending it to any of her friends.  After 45 days of using the eyelash enhancer, her eyelashes have pretty much the same length and thickness as before.

Now, let’s take some factors into consideration here because I’m not the type who would end my articles on a negative note:

  • Was SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer formulated to work on certain skin types?  If so, what are these skin types?
  • Did users who have negative reviews on the product followed the eyelash growth product application instructions well? (I’ve found a site who had 9 negative comments about the products out of the total 13 comments)
  • Does SmartlLash Eyelash Enhancer takes longer than 30 days for some people to work?  If so, why?

I told my friends about these information I gathered as well as the possible factors that may have affected the users who gave negative reviews on SmartLash.  Now, it’s all up to them (and to you dear readers) to give SmartLash Eyelash Enhancer a try.

What’s The Best Eyelash Growth Product Available Now?

I’ve been doing this eyelash enhancers research over the internet for several days now that I can’t help but act like an authority on informing you about the best eyelash growth product there is.  Of course, I can’t help but notice a few sites obvioulsy being paid to promote a particular brand of eyelash growth serum but there are also sites that are making it hard for me to tell if they’re being hired to advertise or not.

In my research, there are three brands vying for the best eyelash growth product.  These brands are Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner, Athena Cosmetics, Inc.’s RevitaLash and Jan Marini Lash Eyelash Conditioner, a revamped of the old Marini eyelash growth product.

I’m playing it safe.  So I gathered all information, read certain comments from actual users, analyzed these comments (sometimes a bit too much) and arrived at a conclusion of what’s the best eyelash growth product in the market today.

Li Lash, a contender for the best eyelash growth product

I’ve done articles on Li Lash vs Latisse and Li Lash before and after pictures, so I’m too acquainted with this eyelash growth product.  This has recieved many favorable reviews from real users, a few negative ones here and there but Li Lash still comes out as an effective eyelash growth serum. You may purchase this online from ebay or amazon. One testimonial is from a Dermatologist from Minnesota, Dr. C. Crutchfield who can attest that Li Lash is their bestselling eyelash growth product for over six months because the feedback from patients say that their eyes don’t get irritated from the mostly natural ingredients used in Li Lash formulation.

RevitaLash, vying to be the best eyelash growth product

Another contender for the best eyelash growth product is RevitaLash, which is an old Athena Cosmetics, Inc. Eyelash growth product but is newly formulated.  The old one contained bimatoprost which caused the burning sensation complained by users.  This new formulation use prostaglandin and is claimed safe to use.  RevitaLash can also be bought from ebay and amazon.  Testimonies about this eyelash enhancer include making eyelashes grow longer and thicker in just two weeks.

Jan Marini Lash Eyelash Conditioner

The Best Eyelash Growth Product

Marini Lash, could it be the best eyelash growth product?

One more product vying for the best eyelash growth product in the market today is Jan Marini Lash Eyelash Conditioner.  Like RevitaLash, this was an old product with newly developed formulation.  This does not use prostaglandin so it’s quite safe plus it works so well according to users.  It’s just a bit expensive though.  Actually, more expensive than Li Lash and RevitaLash.

So what’s the best eyelash growth product among the three?

Most sites with eyelash growth products reviews include the three products above in their top five best eyelash growth products but there was one or two sites that didn’t include Marini Lash Eyelash Conditioner so my decision is now torn between Li Lash and RevitaLash.  There has been more reported stinging from RevitaLash users than Li Lash.  So, the best eyelash growth product in this article is Li Lash.

This is just me acting all authoritative because of too much eyelash growth serum research.  The best persons who can choose the right and the best eyelash growth product for you is your doctor and yourself.  If you try one and see the amazing results on your lashes without the side effects, then for sure, that’s the best eyelash growth product for you.

See The Li Lash Effect In These Before and After Pictures

If you’re skeptical as I am about certain things like trying on new cosmetics, the Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner specifically, it’s just typical for you to hunt for Li Lash before and after pictures on the internet where  you’ll most likely see a flood of results.

I was hovering over the web for Li Lash before and after pictures because I want to justify the verdict I gave from my last post which you can find here.  I mean my research gave me favorable testimonials from happy Li Lash users, so why not show you images that can back these testimonials up, right?  The truth really is that, I also want to be convinced more about Li Lash’s effectivity (partly because I want to feast my eyes on those women’s curled, long, thick eyelashes).

So here we go, let’s take a look at these Li Lash before and after pictures and together, let’s see how efficient this eyelash growth serum really is.

My research took me as far back as the year 2008.  I can’t believe some people have actually been chronicling their lashes growth brought by Li Lash Eyelash Conditioner.  These Li Lash before and after pictures are  bringing huge positive  impact on my eyelash growth serum hesitancy.  And since Li lash can be purchased online from ebay and amazon, it’s just most likely that they have their own before and after images ready for interested customers inquiries.  One customer had the audacity to ask for these images so let’s start with them, shall we?

The woman who did that second set of Li Lash before and after pictures experienced a minor lash fall out after a year of using Li Lash but it wasn’t something she was really freaking about.  She said she stopped using the product for a week or so and maybe, she shouldn’t have done that.  Maybe.  I think the rightest way to utilize products like these eyelash growth serums is to first ask your doctor if it’s safe for you to use one and then to follow instructions (and I mean really follow even to the minute instruction details).  Taking risk may be considered after you’ve used the product long enough to trust that it’s not causing you any harm.  For the sake of research, I am yet to find Li Lash before and after pictures that aren't so flattering.

Because honestly, guys,  I’m pretty impressed with these Li Lash before and after pictures, how about you?
